SHIFT Inc. (“SHIFT,” headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Masaru Tange, President and CEO, Prime Market: 3697) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Japan Aerospace & Defense Consulting Inc. (“JADC,” headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Hideo Mori, President and Representative Director) will launch a “Beginner’s Course” in its RMF (Risk Management Framework) training program aimed at manufacturers and suppliers of defense equipment, where participants can learn the basics of RMF in two days starting from September 1, 2025.

About the RMF Training Program
The RMF Training Program is an educational initiative provided by JADC. Leveraging JADC’s high technical expertise and industry knowledge, gained through supporting 16 defense equipment manufacturing companies in RMF compliance through its “RMF Consulting Services,” the program is focused on developing various content that is practical for RMF compliance in defense equipment manufacturing and supply companies.
As the first content offering, JADC has developed a “Engineer’s Course” in collaboration with ISF NET, INC. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yukiyoshi Watanabe), which has a rich track record in human resource development and education. This course allows participants to learn the processes for “Security Planning” and “Risk Analysis and Assessment” necessary for initial RMF compliance activities through hands-on exercises. The “Engineer’s Course” is based on training conducted for JADC’s internal RMF consultants and has undergone multiple rounds of refinement, enabling systematic acquisition of RMF compliance know-how.
Now, JADC is launching a “Beginner’s Course” aimed at individuals who are new to RMF compliance, where participants can learn the basics of RMF in two days.
Additionally, starting in October 2025, JADC plans to offer advanced content, including an expanded “Engineer’s Course” that covers the processes for “Continuous Monitoring Status Reports” and “Future Planning Status Reports,” as well as a “Advanced Course” that deepens understanding of security management measures and familiarizes participants with mitigation strategies and risk acceptance concepts. The “Advanced Course” can be customized based on the organization and participants’ proficiency levels, including program content and scale. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
